Great idea camping at the dealership. We will be picking our new V-lite 30WFKS in a couple weeks and will try to do the same. Good luck and happy trails!!

Kim, that's what I wound up doing. I had diconnected it just in case the thing on the truck that won't let it discharge too much did not work. It was unGodly cold, otherwise I wouldn't have worried about it.
If we ever leave out on those winter trips again and it is that cold I will take a groupe 71 charged and a jumper and not worry bout it.

Hey JD. I'm in a similar situation to you. I'm getting ready to go on my maiden voyage in my new RV. Let me know how yours goes when you do it.

Will my veteran insurance pay for a wheelchair van?
