Salem Cruise Lite 195BH - HELP! I NEED OWNERS MANUAL!

I am new to this forum and even newer to RV'ing! I purchased a 2015 Forest River Salem Cruise Lite 195BH from an individual who bought it this spring and only used it once. Great little starter travel trailer, 20', single axle, and I can pull it with my Toyota FJ Cruiser. However, the individual said they never received an owners manual from the dealership. I emailed Forest River and they were very nice to send me an owners manual, however the manual is a generic manual that covers larger travel trailers and 5th wheels. I was hoping for more of a manual specifically for my travel trailer. For example the air conditioner is not the typical ceiling mount but a side mount with exhaust on the side and it also has a bubble cover on the roof above it. This AC is not listed in the generic manual. Nor was it listed in the list of manufacturers they gave me. Things like that I would believe should be covered in a manual specifically for my RV. Am I asking too much, do they even make model specific manuals or does everyone get the same generic manual and you like it or lump it? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Here is a link to what my RV looks like showing the AC exhaust and the cover above it. See: http://www.sonnysrv.com/uploads/inve...0280-27732.jpg

For some reason I could not post a photo on here, no matter how small a file I made it! The link above is not a photo of my RV but one I found on line.

All trailers come with a generic manual. You can find a lot of useful info online specific to each appliance. I am not a technical person, but other folks on this forum blow me away with their RV knowledge. Just post and they will answer. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum. As most mention all you get is a generic manual. Most folks come here to get the blacks filled in so ask away. Later RJd

You should be able to read a manufacturer's name and hopefully model # on the A/C. Then do a google search on that. Most manufacturers these days have their manuals on-line in pdf format.

Thanks Jawga, I found the manual for the AC on the internet. Yes, the previous owner gave me the other manuals as well. My guess is that the vent on the roof above the AC is to vent the cabinet since the AC doesn't stick out the side of the camper like a window AC. Since you say you have the same model, have you had any issues with yours? Thanks for the reply.

Had the water line leak at the pump( tightened the connection) water leak next to water heater (replaced plastic elbow with metal one), bad 300 toilet(replaced with 310 model courtesy of domestic) replaced crappy tires with new ones. All the problems we had i fixed myself so havent been back to the dealer at all. Also have done quite a few mods on it also.
