Saying hi from Oregon
Just wanted to check in and say hi. I currently have a 2002 Fleetwood Prowler, but am looking to upgrade to a new bunkhouse. The wife really likes the Keystone Cougar line, but I like the Forest River Wildcat Maxx. If we decide to go with the Wildcat it will be the 26bhs. Does anybody on here have this? And if so, what are the up's and down's of this trailer? MSRP on this trailer is $38,000 and I have the dealer down to $22,000 right now. I think I can get them down 2k more.

Welcome from a fellow Oregonian. Perfect time to be getting a new trailer, camping season is upon us here in the PNW. I have been happy with my Forest River product. I looked at Keystone products when shopping, but Forest River seemed to have a cleaner fit and finish along with more standard features for the money.

Thanks for the welcomes! On Saturday I signed on the Wildcat Maxx. So as long as the financing goes through this week, I should be ready to go camping in a couple weeks! I dealt with Fun Time RV, which so far has been very good service. If it stays that way through the whole transaction I will let you know.

Welcome.
My wife liked the Cougar line also.
She lost.
(She loves the V-Lite on order as well)

Well.... I brought it home today. Found a few issues, nothing too serious.
Front speakers weren't working, tech repaired it while we were inspecting. Cross wired.
Front jacks weren't working. Blown fuse. Not sure if that will come up again, or if it was a fluke.
One screen was broke. They replaced the screen.
A graphics decal is tore. They ordered a new one.
LED light strip under awning has a bunch of dead diodes. They ordered a whole new strip.
Other than that, I am very impressed with the quality of the Maxx. The only thing I am not impressed with is how hard it is to get the Linc remote buttons to work. It might be my callused fingers though! Lol

If I may offer a suggestion, have them order another light strip and put it away as a spare.
