Would like to thank everyone on this site for the help I have already received. We pick up our 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite 1905 (old style, no front window) on Friday only having seen pictures and talking to the dealer 400 miles away. Reading all I can absorb from these forums has made that decision not seem like much of a risk. I am already planning on some modifications to the trailer and have learned a lot just reading these forums. We sold our old 24' Prowler three years ago when the last kid was out on their own. We decided we missed camping so went with a "couples" trailer that my beat up '98 Dodge 1500 wont yell at me about pulling! Really looking forward to the two of us having the ability to pick up and go somewhere nice for the weekend in our new trailer.
Again, thanks to all who have shared their advise and opinions here...so helpful.

A 16 hour day to pickup the new trailer. There is something unnerving about pulling into a dealership with a big fat check to buy a trailer you've never seen except in on-line pictures. It helped that I spent the last two months identifying the exact trailer we wanted (you might be an engineer if you have a spreadsheet on trailer features/specs!). In fact, my camping buddy (wife) had not even seen pictures! Returned home with the new toy behind my crappy pickup well after camping buddy had gone to bed. When I got up this morning she said "give me the tour". Walked in and camping buddy said "nice". After 30 minutes camping buddy says "It's perfect" and is looking at ways to decorate. No higher praise could be imagined. Again, a great thanks to forum members for posting their experience and wisdom to help with this journey. Now time to set off on some adventures.
