So Cal Noob - 2011 FR Stealth 2410

Hi everyone,
New guy here from Orange County CA. I'm in the process of buying a 2011 FR Stealth 2410 toy hauler. I'll be towing with a 2013 F150 ecoboost w 3.5 gears and integrated brake controller.

This is our first trailer and my whole family is excited. We plan to use it going to the beach OC and San Diego mostly, riding motorcycles at Ocotillo and Pala and exploring new places! I've been searching for months and finally found the configuration we've been looking for (front bedroom, two rear beds) at the right price.

I have a thousand things going through my head like do I buy a new weight distribution hitch (

, or should I just keep the EZ model the seller is including.

Also looking at solar power to supplement my family's expected high power usage (link to package I'm considering) I'm thinking of the 'Off grid Weekender package'.

The above two are the big things on my mind but I also need to purchase a waste disposal hose and some system or process to keep the toilet clean...

White water hose, regular water hose and one of these.

Use the regular water hose for things like hosing out the Rhino drain hose filling a bucket to wash windows or whatever.

Use the white hose for fresh water only so you do not contaminant it.

Personal experience we have an Anderson hitch and I love it. Very quiet and works well. We have a 2011 F250 pulling a 2014 Work & Play 30wrs and it does great. However, that being said, if I had a free hitch and it worked I would use it and save the money for extra camping. If after some time you find that the hitch doesn't work for you, then you can get something different. As far as the high power consumption, does that include running the a/c. If so, I don't know if you can get the a/c to run off a power converter very long. I would look at a Honda or Yamaha generator. About 3500 watt will get you by for most things. We take our trailer to the races and I have a 3500 watt inverter and it will do most of what is needed and still be economical and quiet. Congrats on the new purchase.

Thanks guys. I'm going to take your advice and try the hitch that comes with the trailer. I'm also going to followup on the extra hose and whatnot. I'm going to keep an eye out on Craigs List for a good, used generator.

One other thing, do you know of a source to find one of the newer Stealth toy hauler bottom bunks that turns into a couch?
