Soon to be Windjammer owners

Hello everyone,

We just put some money down on a 2011 Windjammer 3002W. Should be taking delivery on it by mid-late April. Not new to camping and have loved our Fleetwood Terry over the years. I was glad to find a forum specific to Forest River. Thanks to those running it!

We're really excited about this new unit and the floor plan. Can't wait!

First to the forum, you will find many knowledgeable people on here if you have any questions. Second, welcome to the V nose crowd. They are very nice units and sure make use of every inch of space.

I have a question about my recent purchase of a 2011 windjammer 3001w. We have searched and can not find where the the in house filtration system is. We received a wrench and filter to install, but can't find the system. can anyone help us please?

Look below the TV at floor level - you will see two doors with two hinges on one side and one hinge on the other side. The water fiter and pump is behind the left-hand door. Simply remove the two screws from the single hinge side to accesss the water filter.
I installed a friction latch like is used on the other doors so I didn't have to remove the screws all the time - works great.
By the way, the sub-woofer is behind the right-hand door.

It's Here!!

We took delivery on our Winjammer 3002W on Wednesday. We had a couple of days to get acclimated to the new features and left for our maiden camping trip on Friday to a campground near Asheboro, NC. Loving the new camper!!

Will be posting some pictures soon!

Any other 3002W owners on the forum??

Wow! Great to find another 3002W owner on here!

Can you tell me what your black and gray water capacities are? If I read the factory specs correctly, there is a total of 76 black and 76 gray. Do you find this to be true?
