Soon to be Wolf Pup Owner
Hello all,
My wife and I started camping when our first born was just over 2 years old, he's turning 6 next month. The last couple years we have been talking about getting a camper of some sort, something small as our tow vehicle is on the smaller end for now. It really came into focus when a cousin of mine who we've done a lot of camping with purchased a nice 26 footer, and now my two kids kept asking when we are getting a camper. I began searching in earnest last summer and came across the R-Pods. We checked one out that would work for our family and thought that was it. Well, we went to the Madison WI camping show this weekend to see if there was one better suited for us. While we were checking out the Palomini the sales rep told us about the Wolf Pup.
My wife has physical limitations in her legs and one of the items that she didn't much care for in the R-Pod or the Palomini was the all in one bathroom/shower step up and in setup. She could do it but it wasn't easy, she'd live with it. Well the Wolf Pup's bathroom sold it for her. We placed and order on Friday and "should" have it by April.
We had a snow storm come through yesterday, and as I was snow blowing and having the wind whip the snow back in my face to melt slightly and painfully refreeze on my face all I could think about was camping this summer. My wife was watching me and wondered why I was smiling. I told her I was think of our Wolf Pup.
I belong to the R-Pod owners group on facebook and they all name their Pods. So my wife and I were coming up with name for our Pod. I came up with yak pod since the last syllable in my name is yak. Well once we ordered the Wolf Pup my wife said, "Wolves travel in packs, our camper will be the yakpack."
Can't wait to go camping and talking with all you folks here.
