Talking Starting 2nd year of F/T RVing

Glad to have found this site!

We made it through our first year full-timing it in a 1973 Landau class A! Takes "simple" to a whole new level!

Before that I held to the adage: Roughing it is a 4 star instead of a 5 star hotel. (Really, more like Motel) But, in order to cut expenses and enjoy a simpler way of life, we bought our first rv and moved here to Bakersfield. We love our permanent site here in our RV park and are adjusting well to the lifestyle.

For our anniversary (26th), Jim bought me a FR Cedar Creek 34', 3 slides. So much more room and storage than that Landau!

Since Jim works, I get to do the maintenance. So I have a lot to learn. But I am enjoying the experience. Glad to have found a place to go to get answers to the many conundrums I encounter. We are looking forward to many enjoyable times in our Cedar Creek!

Again, glad to be on-board with Forest River Forums! Thanks ahead for all your help and input!!!
