Stepping out this spring 2019..not going back

Hello Out There,
This spring I will be stepping out full time RV ing in my EProFD19. My family think I am losing it..... to leave the "comforts" of a stick and brick home.

Thanks for all the helpful tips.
Peace

My wife, kids, and I went fulltime 3 1/2 years ago. I couldn’t imagine life any differently and am nothing but thankful for doing it.

It’s not all sunshine and roses, but the good outweighs the bad for us.

Where are you launching from? And where is your first destination?

Comforts!? Like what? Cleaning all the rooms? Lawn mowing? Snow shoveling?

Hello from the 'not so warm this year' state of Arizona where I've spent the last 3 winters. Travel during the spring/summer/fall. Pulled out of NE Washington State October, 2016 and have had many great adventures. You roll with the punches and change directions at will. Have fun!

Welcome from NW Ohio.. Congrats and have fun.. If you are traveling alone just make sure you have a set schedule of contacting the family so they dont worry so much about you...

GREAT!
Please consider a Utube channel to post your travels and experiences. Many do that and you can actually get a little $$ for it from Utube advertisers. Similarly, you can setup an Amazon portal on your site to purchase recommended items and again gain a little payback from that.

I began my full-time journey in my 5'ver a year ago...due to a divorce.

It was fun for awhile, but after six months I decided to settle down again.

It was expensive pulling that thing around!

Have only used my camper once since then, so am thinking about selling it as it is just costing me money to sit out there in a storage lot.

Might just pick up a smaller TT when I get the urge to camp again!

So you are young enough to be able to read all this on a cell phone screen, and old enough to be financially secure enough to do this. Call me jealous!!

Congrats on going full time.

The more posts I read like this the more I'm considering it myself. Wife passed away in 2016 and my 14 yo Shih Tsu is "day to day".

Will be just me in a huge 4-bedroom house which I could own tomorrow if I wanted to write that last check.

Thing is, if I sell and put the $$ in the bank they won't pay me "cow patties" for interest. If I just leave it alone my house is going up in value. Almost 10% per year for the last 5 years. Refuse to rent it. I've seen what renters do to houses they don't own around here.

Decisions, decisions.

NJ Kris aka Jealous
Yes, I have a laptop to check messages as well. Based on the testimonies from others out and about and the cost of my current home ownership. I think I will be ok...... I bought my rig August 2018 , taking it out on short runs.
I think I can navigate this vessel by now. Getting down to the wire my house is almost empty. Yippie!
