New RVers from Arkansas. We are looking forward to hitting the road on our first adventure with our 30DS.

Welcome aboard, from your southern neighbor. You are already in a great state to camp in and have some awesome state parks that I really like staying at.

Since you asked for advice, my experiences have shown you need to make reservations at a lot of Arkansas Parks well in advance, especially the holidays. They are that popular.

I just tried to book in at Lake Degray State Park for the 4th of July and/or Memorial day, and they are no vacancies at this time.
