Thank you, Forest river forums!

My husband and I have been lurking all over this site as we've researched which Forest River tt we were going to purchase.

Yesterday we took delivery of our brand new, 2013 Salem 30KQBSS! No sooner did we get it home, we had a problem. We tried to use the remote control to let out the slide, and nothing. No power. It was pouring down rain, and the vent in the bathroom was open, so we just HAD to get the slide out to close the vent.

While my husband tried to find a power adapter so he could plug in to the house power, I hopped online to the forums, and a few minutes later found someone with a similar problem, with all the responses from you wonderful people here. Thanks to you all, my husband was able to find the little switch under the tt for the battery. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This forum is a wealth of information!

I hope someday we can be of assistance to others out there.

Welcome to the forum

Would you believe the little circuit breaker you are talking about mounted on the frame underneath the floor was viewed by me at the factory last
Thursday. I actually watched the fellow install and wire the little circuit breaker that you are talking about. What craftsmanship.

Good luck!

Oh wow, really? That's interesting. They sure do have that little critter hidden well, don't they?
