Thanks for the responses

I do have a couple of questions, probably more later. First, what is the best way to operate the refrigerator while traveling to the campground.
Second, if we are at a full hook up site, do we wait to empty the black and gray water until they are almost full?

I answered on your other post .
use auto setting on fridge while traveling it will be gas and once you hook up to shore power it will auto change to electric.

wait till your tanks are full then dump black first greay second.

mom - assuming you have placed perishables in the refrig before leaving on your trip, it should (must) be run on propane while traveling and it should switch over to the electric mode once you are connected to shore power. This is providing that have set the controls properly and everything is working as it should.

As for dumping your black and gray tanks - watch your tanks level indicators and I suggest dumping when they reach the 3/4 full level. You will know if you haven't dumped them when they should be by seeing that the shower and sink won't drain (Gray) and the toilet will certainly let you know when it is time to dump.
