The new guy with a few ?'s

Hello name is Mike and we just picked up a 2012 Puma 30-kdb. We have always had pop ups and this is our first TT. A few ?'s I have is which awning mat is everyone having the best experience with and as far as black tank the dealer said to leave open or closed don't matter (with full hook up) but others say to leave closed and drain when getting full. What are your suggestions? Thanks for your answers and any other suggestions you have. And here are a few pics.

By all means leave black tank closed until departure or near full. It should hold at least a week. This facilitates much easier cleaning at end of trip.
Nice looking rig, neat kitchen.

Thanks Vince. Kind of what I was thinking.

As for your awning mat, make sure you get an rv one, and not a piece of outdoor carpet. A lot easier on the grass. Also it will dry quickly, and roll smaller for storage. Wal Mart has them, as do camping places, camping world, dealers, etc. Then there is online shopping also.

Welcome, nice looking trailer.

E-bay is also a good place for a lot of accessories, including the awning mats.

If you are around Orlando, FLthis is a fantastic place to get all sorts of sun screens, ground mats, etc. Extremely reasonable prices. Don't think he has a website, but give him a call.
