Third trailer but first Forest River.

Good morning, I have just recently purchased my first Forest River travel trailer, the 2016 Rockwood 8327ss. Considerable upgrade from my last TT. So far, love this thing inside and out. We have yet to do our shakedown cruise but will take care of that shortly. One thing that is making me cross eyed right now is a phantom switch at the lower left of the control panel. Even the dealer has no idea what it is for. It does have wires to it and we have ran around like idiots in the dark looking for the answer. Any ideas??

I don't know obviously, but is it possibly for the water heater?

Does it have a light in the middle of it?

All of the other switches are identified including the water heater. This one does not have a light in the middle, it is just a black, unnamed switch. Quite possibly could be a switch to nothing. Just not sure.

The one switch that was not labeled on my FR was an outside light.

I have the same question as Bama Rambler... IS there a light in the switch that lights when you turn the switch on?

Do you have tank heaters. I have a different trailer but my tank heater switch is not labeled.

First, thanks for all the feedback! The switch does not light up, I too have the tank heaters but that is identified as well as the slides, lights inside and out, water heater etc... Possibly future use.....

A reach here, but I see an option listed on one web page as a heated underbelly. Is this something separate from tank heaters? If so, could that be it?

Could it be the light at the front of the unit to light up the hitch area?
