Traded in popup for travel trailer

Hi Folks,

Well just pulled the trigger on a 2014 Coachmen Apex 288BHS. Didn't realize Forest River bought coachmen so I get to stay on the same forum. I've got a Ford F-150 2012 5.0L 3.55 axle ratio. The thing I liked about the trailer is the Azdel material not being prone to sucking in moisture thus adding more weight in time to the trailer and also not being prone to rot, mold or mildew. It's also half the weight of wood so it really helps out on the GVWR. The CCC is about 1900 pounds. The GVWR is 7000lbs which is about 300-400 pounds over the max my TV can take. I will definitely need to be mindful of weight with gas in the TV and being light on the load inside the TT. I always travel with empty tanks which should help out in this area as well.

Anyone else have an Apex 288 ?
