Traded up to a SP220

After looking for a year for the right TT to upgrade to, my wife and I stepped into a Surveyor SP220 and found the "fit." Picked it up last weekend and hopefully we'll take it on a "test drive" this coming weekend. It truly is the perfect trailer for two. Can't wait!

Bruce

Welcome aboard! There are several of us on here with SP220's. I would encourage you to go over to the Surveyor section to see some of the mod's they have done and please chime in with any issues or mods of your own. We are all here to help each other out.

It truly is a perfect couples camper, my wife and I love it.

And welcome from northern Arizona!
My wife and I have had our SP220 since May of this year and just love it. A great trailer for 2!
I too encourage you to spend a couple of trips enjoying your new trailer before doing any mods or upgrades; and be sure to visit the Surveyor site.
Happy Camping!
Pete

Congratulations. We love ours, too. As Tim mentioned, several of us on here have gotten 220's in the past few months. Hope you'll keep us up to date on how it's going, and reach out if you have questions or issues.

I think you'll enjoy the large bathroom and all the storage space. We've had ours almost six months and still have storage space to spare, which is a miracle. Have fun and stay in touch.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome to the "FROG 220 club." I should probably be winterizing by now but had to go out for that test run this past weekend. Had a wonderful, dry and warm time despite the 2 degree (that's Canadian so in Celsius) nights and torrential rainstorm. We sat cuddled on the couch watching a good movie (and it was soooo nice to just flip the TV around when we got tired and finish with our heads on the pillow.) I know we'll get a lot of good use out of this trailer. Thanks again for the advice on MODs and stuff--I really like the great wealth of advice that is on this site. Got some ideas, but like what was said, I think I'll wait a bit and make sure that they are really what I want to do. If I do, I'll post it for you all to know about, eh. Smiles, the Happy Canadian.

Congrats on the new digs...We picked ours up in July..
5 trips and 1500 miles all's well in the hot, rainy, windy ,dry, hail and snow of the PNW...
Suits the two of us very well...
You'll like it.

Welcome!

I've had mine for nearly a year now and think you'll really love it! Fantastic little TT'

For a first upgrade I might suggest a pillow topper for the mattress

Enjoy!!

Topper Tip

That's one MOD we did do right away. We drove off after picking it up and stopped to buy a foam topper for the mattress before anything else. I'm thinking the only other modification I may make right off in the spring is alter the TV stand. As it is now, it turns away from the couch when it turns around and I would rather have it turn toward the couch on its way to face the bed. Fortunately that's just a simple fix. Smiles to all, the Smiling Canuck.
