Upgraded camper and new to the forum

Hello from central Illinois. We went to Tom Raper's yesterday picked up our new Prime Time Lacrosse 318bhs that we saw at the Outdoor Boat and RV Show in Indy two weeks ago. We upgraded from our 1999 Coachman Futura Lite 247. Wife wanted the bunk beds for the girls (age 4 and 2) and a slide out for rainy days at the campground. Picked up the camper with my 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 with Equalizer WD hitch and had no problems pulling it 3.5 hours to home. I was concerned it may be undersized but did not feel like it was struggling with pulling this camper. We mostly camp at Clinton Lake ( Mascoutin ) campground. Also have a boat that we keep at a storage unit 1 mile form the campground, so this makes for an easy getaway weekend and a lot of fun. Can't wait until the weather warms up and we can get out and enjoy this nice camper.

Welcome from a fellow 318BHS Family. I think you'll love your unit. It is a very family friendly layout. Like you guys, we upgraded from a smaller trailer, a 2005 Fleetwood Prowler BH240 Lite. We love our Lacrosse.

Hope you guys get to enjoy it soon!!!!

Welcome from Ontario. Congratulations on your new camper. Now the fun of transferring the "Stuff" from one to the other.
