Very much a newbie

Camping has been our list is things to do for several
years, but life seemed to get in the way for many of them. now with retirement on the horizon, we thought it was time to start. we always wanted a camper, but
did not know what we wanted especially with limited
pulling capacity. so we are leaning toward a Shamrock 17 to start with. can't wait for our first expedition.

We bought our first RV about 5 years ago, after having been boaters for many, many years. We are now on our 3rd unit...moving up in size each time (just like boats, lol). You won't regret your decision. There is so much to see in this great country. With retirement on your radar, you'll have a chance to get out and see the sights at times when places aren't terribly crowded.

Good luck with whatever unit you end up with.

Welcome to the forum! We started out in the 1970's with a TT when the kids were young. After going through the TT and one Motorhome, we now have a larger Motorhome and want to travel in our retirement. Do a lot of looking before you decide which RV you want to buy. There are a lot of good ones out there but there are also a lot of RV's that for one reason or another you might want to stay away from. Ask lots of questions about the RV you find. Make sure you get a good walk through before you drive it away. Stay safe and enjoy the RV that you choose.
