Waiting for New Forester in Alberta

Hi Guys, Just purchased a new Forester and am waiting for a few things to be installed and the snow to melt to take possession. Enjoy reading the forums. I'm not new to rving but looking forward to getting out in my new motorhome with bells and whistles. Any other members in Alberta?

Welcome to the forum from Ontario. Congratulations on your purchase. Now just have to wait for the white to go.

Welcome from Missouri. We honeymooned in Manitoba many years ago -- does that count?!?

Its a 2501 TS. That puts it at about 27 ft going down the road. It has just about all the options I can think of. They are putting a 150 w solar panel on for me. I have one on my old unit and it really makes a difference when dry camping. I guess I have a generator for that now though. I really was sold on the larger 7500 1b towing rate - can bring the horse along now as well.

Welcome to the forum from Cochrane, AB. Like you, just waiting for the weather to pick up before we head out camping. Hopefully we might get out by mid April. Which dealer did you buy from?

Small world isn't it. I bought from Field of RV Dreams. Got a good friend there to watch my back. They are pretty good guys in the service department. I've dealt with them before.

I'm hoping to take the new unit out for a few day trips skiing this spring.

They are good. We bought our first TT from them back in 2008 when they were based alongside hwy 1 at Springbank. We always got great service there, I was just sorry they moved away from that location. Ended up buying our current RV from a dealer in Sundre.
