Waiting Patiently

Hi everyone - Just joined today. We're patiently awaiting the delivery of our very first TT - 2011 Rockwood 8293RKSS. We researched tirelessly before deciding on the Rockwood. It has all the features/options we want. We were tent campers for 19 years and are SO happy to be moving up to a camper. We decided to go straight to the "big one" instead of starting out with a fold down. Although we had a GREAT set up with the tent, the cots, the porta potty, the outdoor kitchen, the refrigerator, etc., it was becoming a real chore to put everything up and take it down (3 + hours each time!). I can't wait until we pull in our site, hit the button for the electric jacks, hit the button for the slide, hit the button for the awning, put out the rug and the chairs and START CAMPING, all without working up a sweat! Can life get any better!?!?

Waiting patiently

I'll really appreciate it when they shut off the water in early Oct. And I don't have to shower outside in 35 degree weather using a sun shower and a tarp! Or the rain for 5 days straight. Or the raccoons trying to eat us out of house and home! Althoughh I can honestly say that we had the raccoons figured out and were very adept at keeping them out of our stuff! Really looking forward to the outside kitchen with the tv. There is nothing about this that screams " roughing it."
