Welcome from N GA

Welcome from Roswell GA. We just bought a 2017 PrimeTime Crusader 315RST. It is our first 5th wheel but our third camper. We have had two other class Cs before. Looking forward to picking it up next Friday and taking a short shakedown trip. See you all around.

Well, this hasn't gone well. Just after getting set up the Dometic thermostat showed an E1 error and neither unit will run. 96F here. Too hot to continue.

At least it was a shakedown trip. The first thing I do when I have a problem is shut it down. Every now and then it works. Disconnect all your power to include the battery and try again. You may be lucky. And welcome from Stone Mountain, GA.

Thanks for advice. Already tried it. Thermostat shows same. We are bailing. 30 miles from home so we will start over tomorrow.

Dometic Comfort Control Center 2 (CCC2) E1 Error Recovery When “E1” appears on a CCC2 display (as shown below) for one or more Zones, follow these steps to correct this error: Zone 1 2 °F AM LO 1. First, reset the CCC2 using the Dometic “System Reset Procedure” (see NOTE below): • Press OFF . • Press ZONE and MODE at the same time. The CCC2 screen will display the “IniT” screen which will list all the available Zones: Zone 1 2 2 °F AM LO • Release ZONE and MODE. • Press OFF . 2. If all the available Zones do NOT appear on the “IniT” screen, do the following: • Disconnect all 120VAC and 12V power for 20 minutes. • Repeat the “System Reset Procedure”. NOTE: “System Reset Procedure” from Dometic Comfort Control Center 2 Thermostat Operating

I was hoping to get you some info on the E1 error but the formatting turned out lousy. Sorry. If you have an internet connection and the ability to do a google search on the error it appears to be a common issue. Good luck!

The trailer towed great. Truck seemed well matched and with a few adjustments it will be like its not even back there, well sort of...

I've never seen the E-1 code so this might not apply. Read another post on the forum that said the thermostat would act up if it saw a temperature of 99 degrees. The solution was to surround it with an ice bag to fool it enough to get the a/c running.

Tried this today allowing 25 mins off of power with no change. Called dealer service and ran field service diagnostics which show the circuit board in thermostat is fried. Back to dealer for repair on Monday. Ah well, that's how it goes.

Wish it could have been something a little easier to have repaired. Hopefully some great times very soon!
