Well We did it

After several years of looking we decided to purchase an RV. We now have a 2017 forester 28' on a Ford chassis. One shake down under our belts and still being haunted by buyers remorse. Hope that goes away. This is our retirement and hope to spend time with the grown kids and our granddaughter. Hope to learn a lot and hope more to enjoy.

I know, it's a lot of money. Just remember, the most expensive RV is one that is not used.

We are a retired couple new to camping in August 2015. We love it. The more we go out, the more we want to go out again. Our first three trips were to a local state park with a Walmart and Lowes nearby and were spent making our TT our 2nd home. It was almost like when we were first married 44 years ago and we started "playing house". Forget the buyers remorse. It's already a done deal. Start enjoying. We have a grandson that we can't wait to take out with us. We also have a grown son in Oregon and we are using our "traveling hotel room" to visit him and visit the west coast. Options unlimited.

Welcome from Western MD!

We purchased a 3010DS Sunseeker a month or so ago. This afternoon will be our second trip in it and we love it. We've already started modifying certain parts. Just enjoy it.

One trip down and the modifications have begun our unit. 28610 came with an outside tv. When we tried to use it I discovered the coax cable was barely screwed on. The 2" hole in the door the tv is mounted to provided no access. Could not get to any of the other plugs on the set. So new access hole cut and behind the tv when closed is now road ready wine storage Click image for larger version

Second mod at the request of the DW. Add another shelf to the pull out pantry. Trip to the store for lumber and some time with the Kreg screw jig and now we have another shelf.

Third mod following the early wake up light in the bedroom. Two blackout strips at the ends of the bedroom window and a light block curtain on the shower sunroof. Up with Velcro tabs. Hoping to sleep in this next trip.
