We're in!

First timers from northeast Texas. Been following the forum for a couple months now. Finally taking the maiden voyage this weekend with our new 2012 2702ss. Already have one rookie mistake. Will post when we get back in for repair advice.

Welcome to the forum!

Rookie mistakes are all a part of the process ... Hopefully yours wasn't too drastic (or expensive). Mine did not result in any breakage. Just wet feet. All I will say is thank god it was the gray tank...nuff said LOL

Here's wishing you and yours many happy nights of camping!

Hi DnD! I hope you enjoy your Crusader as much as we have enjoyed ours. We have been very satisfied with the trailer and the company support. We do have ours for sale however. Realized that we should have went bigger right from the start so we have ordered a Columbus 320RS. Also like the fact that the Columbus has some features that our 260RLD didn't have. It is amazing how much progress has been made in the features offered for the $$ in two years since we bought the Crusader.

Thanks to all for the posts. Short trip but successful. Kids loved it.

I don't know if this is the proper category for troubleshooting but will ask anyway. My rookie mistake was leaving the rear electronic stabilizers down while hooking up the trailer and sway bars. Initially, the jacks pulled up about half way, but then would not function at all. I may have bent the screw in the rear. The front jacks are not functioning electronically now either. I was able to get both up and down manually to make the trip.

I will be consulting the manual for a possible fuse location and investigating the rear screw, but any suggestions would be appreciated!

Could be a circuit breaker---------

Look under the frame in the front on driver's side, could be a fuse or circuit breaker. Look behind the flat part that the tongue is welded to. If it is a circuit breaker (Small Gray BOX with a wire going in one side and one coming out the other side) Could have a small red plastic cover over the gray box. There will be a small pin on the box on one side, push it in. Again may be a fuse holder!

Good luck

Welcome to the board!
A trailer without any boo-boos is a trailer not used enough. Note: this can only be said after the first mistake or accident.
