I need a TV

I know in these types of forums TV could mean Tow Vehicle, well, not in this case. I really do need a television. I have a 2000 FR Reflections DP. The MAIN TV is there and works great. However, the previous owner removed the TV from the bed room. Does anyone know where I can get the original, or preferably an LCD that will fit in the spot? It looks like I have about a 15X16 inch space.

Thanks,
Brian

I would just take your measurements and a tape and go to Walmart and pick up an LCD TV. We found an Emerson several years back that was square and fit the hole vacated by the old style TV in our old rig. Today's LCDs are usually wider than tall so it can be a bit of a challenge I know. You might have to get a bit creative with the mounting. Post pics if you get it figured out.

Good Luck with your project,

Well, with a 2000 model trailer, if you found an original tv, it will be analog, and won't much without a converter box, and where are you going to put that? Take the advice of NWJEEPER, get a new tv.

Good Luck with your project,
Thanks. you're right the "wide screen" aspect (no pun intended) is quite the challenge. The screens are measured diagonally so screen size = SQRT(15^2+16^2) = 21.9 inches. So, being that the outside dimensions of the entire TV, we're looking at probably an inch and a half of plastic from the edge of the screen to the outer edge of the unit...so 21.9 - 3 = 18.9 or ~ a 19 inch TV would be the largest that could fit. With attached speakers the screen will only be smaller.

I'll send pics as soon as I get this all sorted.

Thanks,
Brian
