I just happened on this forum and am very excited to find it. We own a 2004 38' Reflection and feel lonely, too. We hardly ever see another Reflection on the road and were wondering if they only manufacture a few each year. We love ours. It's the second Reflection we've had, having had a 2000 34' for our first MH.

Hang in there and as more people find it, there will likely be more with your particular models.

New reflection owner

Hello all. My wife and i just bought a 2003 38' Forest River Reflection Triple Slide Diesel on a freightliner chassis and 330 cat engine. We bought it sight unseen (I am incredibly nervous) but were reassured it was in near perfect condition w/o hardly a scratch on it and its all in writing along with a guarantee to fix anything we were not happy about 100%. It was a bank repo that we got a great price on so all you can do is hope. We live in Alaska so we will not be able to pick it up in Florida until October. We plan to take a couple weeks every few months and continue traveling through the states since we can't affoed to quit our jobs and do it full time.

I have desperate to find more info on these but they are not very common. For the most part people seem pleased but I just want to know what to look for and things that may be helpful. The model we purchased has the full body paint and cherry cabinetry....looks really nice from pics. How is the quality vs other similar RV's? Please share what you like and don't like. How is fuel economy?

I hope to hear back from some other owners and as soon as we get ours we'll share the info as well.

Talking my 35' reflection diesel

Hello out there.
I've bought my used my 35' reflection just over 4 years. This was my 1st motor home ever.
So far so good. I originally wanted 31-38 foot MH. Also I want a diesel and two slideouts. Well i got my diesel pusher but with only one long slideout.
The slide includes couch and kitchen.

My motor home has a 265-280HP cummins i believe it is. I'm glad i have a Cummins not a CAT. I'm still running on the original 10 year old tires.

I've never had any major problems as of yet. just a few minor things needed
replaced. I replaced the engine oil switch and the fan blade. I went with
a more efficient fan blade, more blades, bigger blade. The engine always starts right up. always runs just perfect.

I have the front-end aligned a few months ago. the tires started to 'cup' some.

I've upgraded many items on my MH. toilet, tv's, cabinets. solar, water pump etc.

I really like my motorhome. i doubt if i could have done much better for the money spent.

I recently replaced all LP regulators. This MH has a 7500w LP generator.
My gen would hesitate sometimes when the a/c's cycle on. At least i know
now that there is no oil in the LP lines and the LP WC pressure is correct.
Not sure i have this gen problem solved just yet.

I've just bought a 2000 FR Reflections DP, also with the Cummins motor! So far we LOVE it! Looking for some other people with similar units. I'm having problems with the battery shut off... Doesn't work. It's like those buttons at the cross-walks of a busy interesection, you can press the button until your finger falls off but the light never changes.

Speaking of lonely I am looking for any one that has the Rockwood Mini lite 1809S. We have one on order - the other day someone mentioned the 1809S but ended up thinking the R-Pod would fit his tow vehicle better.

i've never used my battery shut off. I have a single solar panel and
it charges my batteries all day long.
I'd say go buy a new one. I recently added slo-blow fuses to my 12v and 6v batteries.
got them from del-city. fantastic price, like $3.00 each. why pay 15.00 or 20.00. i bought spares plus connectors and fuse holders.
