1st mods done

Well DH just completed the first two mods to our new Sabre. Nothing fancy just an oxygenics shower head and a fantastic vent cover. These were the first mods on our old tt as well. Once you have the oxygenics, you just can't go back to a regular shower head. Probably should have gone with brushed nickel but I think the chrome is ok.

You should be happy with those mods. I should warn you that doing mods usually starts off with just one or two things but then they keep growing.

I didn't think I did more than a couple of things but after listing them all I found I did a lot more than I first remembered. My top three favorite mods are:
  • Adding lifts to the OH cabinets door. Door will stay open as I search for items.
  • Having a Fantastic Fan installed. Great for removing warm air & smells.
  • Flipping a lower cabinet door to open in the other direction. I keep my trashcan in this cabinet.
Looking forward to see what else you do later on. I can always use some good ideas.

I know what you mean about starting with one or two and then continuing on. On our old tt we did these two mods plus installed a power tongue Jack, created shelving in our cabinets and of course put bubble levelers on. We hAve only been out once with the new fiver so new ideas will come with time. Fortunately this one already has a fantastic fan. I'm contemplating some basement storage ideas and closet organization ideas now. DH hates it when I brainstorm because it means spending more money and more work for him.

Nice start to modding your new Sabre! I wish manufacturers would just install the Oxygenics shower head at the factory as stock and add it to the price of the camper.
