2004 rockwood roo bulbs

I have a 2004 Rockwood Roo 21ss. its down at the lake currently but I forgot what bulbs go in the overhead light in the camper.

I was also thinking about going to LED bulbs. Any ideas on the bulb types and places anyone else has used or any suggestions!!

Do a Search - there are numerous discussions on this - and many have done it - including me - I bought replacement 24 and 36 LEDs lamps from an eBay vendor in China - good price & product, free delivery.

re:

Thanks much for the reply. I had read through quit a few post about bulb replacments and nothing stood out as to which ones to buy. Will any wedge type bulb fit in the receptacle? And if I was to go to the auto parts store which bulb would I buy to replace the standard bulb that comes in those domes. Is it a pretty consistant type!

Unfortunatly My camper is in storage at the lake 2 hours from here so I cannot just go out and look at the current bulbs in the dome lights!

Thanks for the help!

Go to a auto parts store and buy #912 light bulb. That should get you going and as soon as possible, convert to 36 or 48 led on e-bay. Its easy to convert to led. Enjoy and happy camping !! Jeff

If they are the wedge type bulbs they should be #921. WalMart sells them 2 to a pack.

No Sticky Problems

Well, there it is.

I am still having issues with the LEDs falling off the tape after a few hours.
The heat of the board releases the glue.

I just bought some red "exterior grade" double sided foam tape and will clean all the old stuff off and try that.

I had the same problem. Bought Industrial grade Velcro. It only takes a small piece and it's been 2 summers and the lights are still in place. It's similar to the heavy duty stuff they use in Hospitals. I found mine on ebay for a couple bucks for 2 feet.

I tried that - the Velcro holds up nicely, but the LED itself comes undone from the Velcro...

Maybe Crazy Glue... not...
