2014 Rockwood - with LOTS of Modifications (Video Link)

YouTube Video Link to all of my interior and exterior modifications.

I have done many mods to my trailer over the years, kept it clean and looking new. I am sharing with you all my work and mods in one place (the YouTube Link above). Pictures are great, but videos are even better! There are a few things I missed, but most of the stuff is there. The only things I didn't cover was the bunk end awnings, the stabilizer stiffeners on the exterior and the specifics on the awning hold down poles (which was kinda modeled after someone else's design here).

Thanks for checking it out!

Nice. You have some good ideas.

(Suggestion: Next time, turn your phone 90 degrees!!! It's like looking through a slit.)

Thanks for watching. And yeah, as I drove away after making the films, I realized I didn't turn the camera! Rookie filmmaker mistake! [emoji1]

Great videos and love the motion lights in cabinets. Would love to know a little more on how you did that. We just got rid of our 2014 Roo 23IKSS and may need to do some lighting work in the new 2017 Flagstaff 27BHWS.

Thanks, in the video I show that they aren't motion activated but a micro switch that activates with the door. As you open the door, the switch closes the circuit and lights on.

Thanks and just starting to learn more about the electrical systems and their inner workings. Went with two 6v this time and working on a monitoring system next. So do you have them powered by the 12v or 110 system?

Well I'm not sure what system you are referring, but since you asked about the led lights in the cabinets, that's all 12v. The only 110v items in the trailer are the typical AC, micro, battery charger and tv and anything plugged in the outlets.

Thanks... Looks like I may have a new mod in the future to tackle. You should have no problem selling yours with all the extras and how clean it is.

I love the cabinet lighting mods you made. Something that I will consider for our trailer. Good job!

I love the 12 volt motion led lights, I have them in my entrance way at both doors. Really handy when you get in late from the camp fire. I also put one in the washroom for those nights when you just gotta go and you don't want to light up the whole RV. You can buy a quality 4 packs for about $30 to $40. Worth every cent!

Oooo. Love the idea of adding those square undercarriage storage tubes! I have high clearance under my 2109S and I could mount something like that just in front of my fresh water tank! That would protect the tank from rocks or debris flying up from the ground. I have a mod to make!

Also! The door privacy glass update. I have to figure out how to do that. I'm NOT that handy, don't want to kill my door in the process! Anyone have a video on how to replace that would be wonderful.

Thanks for the ideas, love it. Good luck on your sale and thanks so much for sharing the mods.
