It wouldn't happen to be like these. I got these from Costco a couple of years ago. I bought them because they have a chaser and other features that I've never seen before on TT LED's. The bad thing is they are too long for the space on our TT.

The led strip should have clearly marked trim points that can be cut without affecting the LED's up to the cut point.

The remote looks the same. But they say commercial electric on them. My buddy sold them to me 2 strings for 10 bucks. So I figured why not. Cheaper than the internet. I think I found an easy way. Just have to install a new 120 plug in my bagage compartment. But the wiring is there going to a plug in the bedroom. So no need to convert voltage now. I have put them on the undercarriage of the camper on the curb side. Already installed. Right now plugging in with extension cord just wanting to get rid of the extra cord.

They cannot be cut symmetrical. The space is 16ft 2in. They are 2x 14ft and plug into each other with the controller on one end. What I really like is the lights will go from the middle outward and back. Can you imagine trying to follow that with each eye?

Converting 12V to 120V then back down to 24V is the quickest way to drain a battery. You have two conversions, each with losses.

The 1A rating should be the specification for the largest number of strips allowed to be hooked together. If it's the rating of the transformer, then it's reasonable to assume that you'll need much less current for one and possibly two strips.

A DC-DC boost converter will be the best option to power the strips. Don't forget that if the strips draw 1A at 24V, you'll need to supply a little over 2A at 12V to account for conversion losses. Running your lights for 12 hours for the evening and night will require a bit over 25amps from your battery so you'll need to make sure you have the capacity to support that load.

I would never be running off the battery. Will not use them if I am boondocking except for short times. Most of the times will use when running from shore power.
