26 foot Forest River V-Lite

Does anyone have or have had the 26 ft. V-lite with the couch and foldout bed in the front living area? Also has anyone made any remodleling modifications to this couch area? It is totaly uncomfortable and we (wife and I) hate it. Big mistake buying it but was first time and bought it for the V front end. I want to take out the couch and put a couble of easy chairs of some sort. We don't have any company stay with us , just us two.

Most all couches I've seen are just screwed to the floor at 4 location.
One at each leg. Id remove ours to and install recliners but we use ours for sleep overs.
maybe you could sell it in the classifieds on the forum once removed?
good luck

Interesting proposal. I think that if you gutted the front end you might have the space to put in two of these. Look out the front on a rainy day or swivel around to watch TV. However you would lose a lot of storage space, I think.

The only thing I am taking out is the foldaway bed/couch and the two bench seats on each side of the couch. Relocate some wirring and move the switch for the electric awning. Lot of space there and possible room for a small magazine rack / table between the chairs. Also thanks for the link with the surplus spot, some of those chairs look good and will fit. Thanks again.

You are welcome. I was thinking there was storage under the the bench seats. Please post pictures of the mod after you finish.

You'll have to take lots of pictures of this mode, I have the same couch in mine.
