OK, this is the last one I am going to post here. This is the last thing I wanted to take care of before we leave for summer vacation.
The trim on our dinette bench seats (the part that holds the cushions in place) is covered in a faux suede type material. They used the same material on parts of the sofa back. While this looked nice when new, it takes some abuse. You slide across it when getting in or out of the dinette, and the section on the top of the dinette back always seems to get grabbed ahold of when walking past, plus it is right next to the cooktop. This material is not at all easy to clean, nor does it stay clean.
Parts removed to be recovered
I took the parts to a local shop and had them recovered in a vinyl material that will be easy to clean, and is very close in color to the original material.
They also made new button covers.
So now I am ready to spend a cool weather week in the mountains.
Thanks for looking!
