Add French doors to the Toy Hauler Garage/Patio - first time RVer

Hi and thanks for the help! I am a first time RVer and just bought a Grand Design Momentum 385th (Media Center- Momentum 385TH | Grand Design RV)

We will be full time living in it, parked in one spot for a few years and we have 3 large dogs who will make the toy hauler patio their playpen during the day. The garage part will become the living room where we'll spend a lot of our time and need an actual door set up between the patio and garage, the pull down screen just won't do!

I'd like to put in french doors swinging outward, but I'm unsure of how we would actually secure the frame.

There is a mini ramp on the floor right where the door would go that would need to be leveled, and since the opening is so large, we'd probably have to make quite a large frame to fit the french doors.

This picture was the inspiration:

Help, suggestions, tips for this mod would be insanely appreciated!!!

since your trailer is not a Forest River product and none of FR's TH's have this setup, that i know of, not sure if you're going to get much help here.

i don't know of any Grand Design owner's forum, like this one for Forest River products.
you might want to join a non-brand specific RV forum, like RV.net's Toyhauler forum and find some other Grand Design owners there.

Recently while searching the net looking at different brands and models of fifth wheel toy haulers, I did see a model that had rear bi-fold doors that allowed you to fold them out of the way to each side for loading. When shut the doors closed off the patio from the garage and had large windows in the door panels. I thought that was a nice idea.

Sorry, I just can't remember the brand or model I was looking at. If I remember I will send another post.
