Added Extra Rear Led Lights

Been wanting to add some extra led lights to the rear of our Lexington for added visibility when braking, turns, ect. Found these quality led's on Amazon. Weather proof, and completly sealed. Just happen to be made by same company that made the tail/turn/stop led's that were on the Lexi. Company called Diamond Group.
Easy 3 wire hook up. If interested, part is "Diamond Group 52436".
And, Amazon price, with Prime free 2 day shipping was $18.95 each. (CW had the same exact light for $29.99 each, special order, plus shipping---unknown delivery time).

Had a chance to try em, in daylight and dusk/night. Very bright, match the factory light brightness. Wife hit brakes, turn, run, and very noticible. 20 led's in each light.
Even with factory lights, toad lights, I want the rear to light up like a christmas tree to be seen. For $40 bucks they work very well.

To say "looks like it came that way from the factory" is not always a compliment here, but in this case,it's a job well done.

Thanks B47. I always like to take my time and make any mods look good. Hate sloppy work. Even though the lights are completly sealed with no chance for water intrusion, I still used buytl tape behind the lights, no gaps at all, and stainless screws. Better than factory, even if factory had done it.

Honest guys, ordered em via Amazon on June 19th and they were $18.95 each and with my prime membership, shipped free. Had them on Monday the 22nd.
I have seen that happen on Amazon, one day from a vendor there a certani price and a few days later the price goes up.
I do know that the 2 I ordered came from their warehouse, and were in stock. Possibly out of stock now and shipped from an independant vendor.
Here's another kicker...google up "Diamond Group 52436" any you'll get vendors selling from $22 up to $48 bucks each!!!
I must have just gotten real lucky!
Sorry,
Grumpy

Sorry, but forgot to mention that was the price for Canadians to buy through Amazon.ca not amazon.com. I really like the looks of the lights and appreciate you putting that post for all to view. I will pick some up next time I am south.

I notice the person who found amazon charging more appears to have been pricing them on Amazon Canada (amazon.ca) and not on Amazon US (amazon.com) where grumpy purchased his. Is the $44 perhaps in Canadian dollars which would explain some of the difference.

Try this. Place an item in your Amazon shopping cart. Close Amazon window. In about 3 hours go back and empty the cart (delete item). The next morning look up your item again, typing in the full description. I have done this several times, different items, the next day my item was $2 to $6 cheaper. Go figure.

Not bad info, just reinforces that we Canadians are getting jamed on prices, what happened to free trade???(Sorry, don't want to start a big debate on this)

Like this light. However, today (Sunday, 6/28) Amazon wants $25.74 each and no offer of Prime free shipping. And a note that only 12 left in stock.

Lights have a standard 3 wire hook up, turn/running/ground. Drilled a 1/2 inch hole behind/where I mounted the lights. On the Lexi, the area where I mounted them is a hollow space. Just fished the wires down and connected them to the existing wires on either side.

now if you really want to get trick, replace those top corner clearance lights with turn/brake/tail lights!
