added my rear scare lights

after sitting in a box for about 2 years i finally had time so i installed my rear scare lights
i tapped 12 volt power behind the concertone and on the left side i tapped off the reading light, switches are right at the taps but at least now i have bright lights out back for those dark campgrounds
nothing special in the wiring.

I've thought about adding those to the back and tying them into the TV's backup lighting circuit for backing into the campsite after dark. I would probably parallel a switch with the RV's power so I could turn them on if I needed to as well. Nice looking job and if you don't mind me asking, where did you get them from?

Now if I could just figure out how to turn off the TV's backup lights when the RV's hooked up.

Why do they not add these on the Trailers? or are they special order?

My husband has added them too and will add them to our new V lite.

I like them too, however, I will say, there are a bunch of people who are very inconsiderate with these. We were parked next to a camper where they left theirs on all night long and they were not even home. For us the irritation was slightly escallated since we are in a hybrid and the tenting lets in the light, but it stinks sitting there at the campfire when your neighbor is lighting up the town :-)

I agree. I hate light pollution! How am I supposed to look at the stars with all that light!
It's a forest...not a parking lot! Oh well, it draws the bugs away from us.
