Found a load center at the local hardware store while picking up pole materials.

Have to switch out the 30's for 20's
$15.99 in store price.

Excellent planning Turbs

[QUOTE=TURBS;955896]I'll plug my normal camper into the 50 amp outlet via my 25 foot cord on the cg shore power via a 50 to 30 amp dogbone.
Then I'll plug the second a/c into the 30 amp cg receptacle via my 50' cord and it'll plug into my camper in the front of the unit where I'm installing a second 30 amp receptacle.

I'm going to wire the second a/c down the front ceiling into my wardrobe then Down into my basement to a single curcuit breaker box then over to the 30 amp bulkhead receptacle.

Clear as mud?

Clear as springwater pal, well planned with considerable thought about how to safely install and use your second AC.

My bedroom AC is an add on Dometic 13.5KBTU and while it does a great job it is noisy as heck. Wish I had a fan speed control to minimize the noise a bit. There are days when I wish it were on a separate 30 amp circuit like you are planning. Our seasonal cg has only 30A service and I can run only one AC at a time.

This new 13.5k when non ducted has 3 fan speeds controlled at the unit.
Non ducted does not have a wall thermostat but is controlled @ the ceiling unit.

Be alert!

Most campground pedestal are wired from the distribution panel of the campground as a maximum 50 amps load charge.

The presence of three outlets 50A-30A-15A does not mean that you can add the three of them; as in fact, in the pedestal, it is a splitter arrangement.

If by any means the total demand exceed 50Amps, the circuit breaker at the distribution panel will trip. In that case you will have to call for the CG management to reset; some CG are calling for fees to do that.

Think I'll be fine.
all the cg's I go to do not charge for using more then one receptacle.
I won't be using more then 50 amps regardless.
30 on one line and 20 on the other.

42 floor plans ? Probably a slight exaggeration, however, you're not considering leaving the Sabre family are you! I've got a great idea for a back-lit cat head but it will be a winter project. Keep us posted on the A/C install progress.

We have been doing it this way for quite some time it was recommended originally by our dealer who has wired numerous 30A trailers this way with no issues. The plan would be to still stay under 50A but not have the added expense of changing out the main converter and doing serious rewiring. Also having a second system should the main 30A trip on the trailer the 2nd AC would still be running.
