Adding awning lights

I have strip lights I want to put on the metal frame that attaches the awning to my 5th wheel.
Question - what is the best thing to use?
Some type of caulk or an adhesive?

Thanks for the info from those that know best.

Yogi

That some folks use so they can't use a sunshade and won't use a double track for some unknown, goofy reason.

Also, they will fit in the extra track slot in the awn'n roller.. If you've got an electric awning, you can just follow the factory wiring up the arms......and, if you want, a RF type controller is avalible, so like OC, you can stay in rock'n chair and make 'em work.......if you don't mis-place the remote.

Put these on 2 yrs ago used 1/4 3m car body molding tape worked great. Take some alcohol on a rag and wipe the area down good before putting the tape on and let dry, it will stick better if site is good and clean.

Mine fit in the awning track below where the fabric attaches. Otherwise I would have used 3m tape. Also used an inline RGB controller with remote. The red light seems to not attract as many bugs. We keep a bucket light away from the front door to attract bugs the other way.

Old gold. What do you mean by a "bucket light"?
