adding extra batteries

Class A - anyone put additional batteries in and if so where? My 315 has a spare tire area that looks like it might work okay. I don't want to get into the 6v vs 12v deal but I have a pair of 12s and wouldn't mind adding two more.

so four 12's ?
not real familiar with your unit but could you stack them via a rack ? 2 on top of 2 ?
remember they ALL need to be vented externally unless there in the engine compartment.

yep - thinking 4 12s right now, the two that I have are fairly new and in good shape. My battery rack under the stairs is positioned in the center - I guess I could add to each side of it extending it out to handle the two additional batteries. Whether that mod was factory or not at least it was done! Are all the batteries connected at once or are they divided into two sets with a switch?

Not sure how it was wired that's why I took the pic. Didn't want to wire them incorrectly. There where two positive wires that ran to different connectors on the Rv. But everything was linked together sorry I could not help more.
