Adding outside refrigerator

I have a 2012 rockwood 8281, and I've always wanted a refrigerator like the outdoor kitchen some models come with. It's not an option on my model, but my camping friends that have the outdoor kitchen love theirs. Figured out that a mini fridge would fit in my front compartment so I bought one and I love it. I can put a case of beer or other drinks in it. No more worrying about running to get ice. Bought it at Walmart for about $70. Click image for larger version

Have the same size fridge in my outside area. Also has a sink in the compartment. Came with it. Holds water and bacon. The two necessities in life.

I'm going to assume that it only runs on 110V in any case the beer will be cold and easy to get to.

It does only run on 110. My camper stays plugged up at home, so I load it up the week before we roll out, then every night before I go in I reload it. Always has cold "drinks" that way. I can put a case of "drinks" in it.

I have an outdoor kitchen. Although the coach fridge is dual fuel, the outdoor kitchen fridge is 120 volt only... which makes sense and is useful when getting the beer cold fast.

Just did the same mod on my Blue Ridge. I had a bit more height to work with so I was able to include storage for my outdoor cooking gear and misc. stuff.Click image for larger version
