I tried some similar LEDs and found that the 2-way tape will let go. I ended up using silicone adhesive on the 2-way tape, both sides. you must use the 2-way tape to provide electrical insulation between the circuit board and the grounded light reflector. I didn't on one and it prompty shorted out and destroyed the light. duh! by the way, out of 10 of these lights I bought, I now only use 2 and have 3 as backups. the rest failed due to heat and possibly over voltage during battery equalize charge. the ones I bought were only rated to 13volts.
