The big box stores have pipe insulation for elbows.
I've found the 3/4" size is perfect for the corners of my bedroom slide.
You can find them **HERE**.

I'll be grabbing some of these as well. I hit my head once last year on my first camper with a slide. I don't want to do that again!

$5.51, wow. I've made a million of those in my life, I retired as a pipe insulator.

I still have a nice bump on my scalp from a head-slide collision last weekend. I ordered some camco corner guards as soon as the pain subsided enough for me grab my phone and log into Amazon.

It's not if you hit your head, but when. Most likely when several people are watching. I use noodles also.

They work good for awning arms as well - especially if you have short hair and don't want to bleed from your scalp the entire trip.

We get noodles every season, always in a screamingly loud color so we can't miss seeing them. Haven't had a head/slide collision in years now.

(knock on wood)

Hazmat... I asked oakman the same thing a little while ago. He replied that it is a Corps of Engineers campground (Coles Creek) on Carlyle Lake in Illinois. Hope this helps!
