I ordered the Reese package from Amazon and it said that it came with saddles. That is not the case. It came with four 6 inch U bolts and 4 small brackets.
Oh well! I made saddles from some scrap 2x6 which gave me clearance for the propane line that runs to the back. I drilled and tapped the schedule 40 PVC for 8x32 bolts. The 1/2 inch stainless bolts along with a little RTV should hold the caps in place. I used some 1/2 inch plastic hose on the stainless u-bolts to provide some cushion to the PVC.

[QUOTE=NJCrusader;855942]I needed a storage area for my sewer hose on my Crusader and I wanted a clean look here is what I came up with.

I knew I wanted at least 5 inches so I could store my graduated adapter end so I settled on 6" PVC pipe and found this product Buyers Conduit Carrier Kit, Model# CC600 (Found on Norther Tool for $54.99 with a discount code).

NJ Crusader
Where did you get the discount code for Northern Tool.

I was also able to find some perfect 1" x 1" square tube stock with holes already in it from Lowes (in the metal stock area). All I had to do was open up the holes slightly and it was perfect.

After seeing your pictures I ordered this kit because it was cheaper. However both pieces that arrived were sized for the bell end of the pipe. Is the kit that you received that way, or did I get a bad kit?

Pipe size

I have actually installed both kits ( the buyers and rigid). The rigid was cheaper, got it used but never installed. Both kit fit the straight non-belled end of standard pvc pipe. The green pipe is thinner wall and normally used as seer pipe. The sewer pipe has a different diameter than standard pipe. If you get standard pipe they should fit

Unfortunately I already bought and cut the sewer pipe. To get schedule 40 locally I would have to buy a 20 foot piece. I can make the non-hinged end work, but it doesn't look like it fit as nicely as yours does in the photos. Thanks for the reply.
