Like someone else mentioned I too was going to go with the fence post but like this much better... so the conduit carrier is on the way...

I'm apprehensive about drilling into the frame but like you say there's plenty of other things drilled into it.

Thanks for posting all the pictures too!

Another Sewer Hose Storage Mod

RD where did you order yours from?

I kinda like the one from Northern better because of having the u shaped bracket.

The hardest part I had was finding the 6" PVC. I ended up using 6" sewer pipe instead. Don't know if there is a difference or not, but it fit and worked.

Here's mine with the amazon kit. One difference I notice is that the Reese conduit carrier cap (with the hinge) is designed to go over the expanded section of the pipe (where another pipe would be inserted in). It looks as if the OP's kit is designed for the standard 6" pipe... but maybe I am wrong... I was also able to find some perfect 1" x 1" square tube stock with holes already in it from Lowes (in the metal stock area). All I had to do was open up the holes slightly and it was perfect.

This is a great idea and something I want to do to my trailer. I'm wondering though will the PVC begin to sag over time unsupported in the center of the trailer?

Funny, I almost ordered these and got busy and forgot, yesterday I went to order online and when I got to the shipping options I noticed "ship to your store" huh? I have a store?
Come to find out a northern tool store moved in 2 weeks ago 9.2 miles from work!
Decidedly I went in yesterday and spent an hour.......... BIG MISTAKE!
Ms amy ended up with a pressure washer and I ended up with a yard sprayer!
Best of all I forgot the caps now I got to go BACK!

Ok now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

That's funny. My trip to Lowes for the pipe and misc. hardware ended very similarly. I ended up coming home with a pressure washer myself... lol.
