How did you attach it? I want to get a couple for our bed & sounds like same sort of set up (bed on a slide).

The flip-down ones? Mine came with screws. I just screwed them in.

I’ve use command Velcro to hold things to the wall. I’ve never had it fail yet in the Texas heat. It comes in many degrees of weight capacity—this one is this the most I have found but it’s probably overkill for this job.

I’ve installed these on both of my campers now with the supplied screws.
Edit, bloody heck FRF/Social Network fix your image handling.

Go to walmart and in the fishing section you will find fold up drink holders. They work great!

Beer Holder
This is the beer holder. My husband made this out of my great aunt Mayme’s plant stand. It works great! He made the wooden holders to fit into the wrought iron frame.
