Ditto sir, we put them on the rear stabs of our Windjammer and my DW has gotten so used to having them, she thought I'd already raised the stabs of the camper a couple of days ago when I had just loosened the Bals when we were getting ready to depart during an overnight stop.
These things work people. I wish I had room to put them on the fronts also (tongue gets in the way).

5'er Motion
We have the same problem with out 5'er and not ever experiencing this problem in our TT, I did not know what to address first. Someone told me to get a King Pin Stab. Tri-Pod, we now have that and will try it on our trip to Goshen. If that does not eliminate the problem, then no doubt we will have to go into your idea. Where did you acquire the parts you purchased for 50 bucks?

I got the two bar set on ebay. The great thing about these is you leave them on all the time. Just tighten the bolts and your good to go. Good luck

I have 2 sets of bal on my front landing gear. Paid $65 each pair on amazon. They work great. May add pair to rear sissor jack if I don't get electric jacks.

Tri-Pod
Can't say I saw any great improvement when using the Tri=Pod Set Up. I believe that, as long as the tires are touching the ground, some bounce will always be a problem. I am putting our Sunnybrook entirely on blocks and removing the tires, this should prove my theory.

If you are getting too much "bouncing" in your rig, try putting a scissor jack under the spring shackle on both sides and just snug it up under the shackle. It works wonders on our Cardinal Platinum. We also have the Steadyfast system, but the scissor jacks are sort of the "icing on the cake."

Answer
You probably have found the answer that I too have been searching for. The new 5'er we recently purchased has this bounce and I believe that no matter what you might try, as long as the tires remain on he ground, you will have a bounce. Getting some of the pressure off of them should make a big difference. I will give this a try on the Sunnybrook we have on a deeded lot and on the 5'er Crusader.
Thanks,

your local tax guru would probably be better equipped to answer that one.
