No I did not add vents. The box has mounting holes that will allow enough air to move around and vent.

Well, sounds like the price difference wasn't as bad as I thought... On the turning radius thing, holy crap! It ended up being a LOT tighter than I thought but I do still have clearance, even with a full jack knife... (thankfully)

Lots of room for all the dirty stuff; hitch crap, hoses, electrical cables and 2 batteries (soon). Still need to install a battery disconnect switch...

cheers,

WOW THAT'S CLOSE! Can you even get a sheet of paper in between! Looks good!

I ended up buying a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet to line the bottom with.

Here are the installed ones. They are 3" in diameter.

I actually have 2 or 3 inches between the bumper and box. I like the carpet idea! The walls aren't very thick, I think they would dent easily.

Happy camping,

Not a "knock your socks off" mod but it was becoming a PIA to keep moving my shop towel roll out of the way each time I went to grab something in the bay...no more

Hung 6" schedule 40 PVC pipe under the camper so I could carry my awning poles.

LED's

The cargo compartments were so dark when trying to load or unload something, even in the day time. So I purchased a 16'-0 LED Bright White Ribbon and tied the power into the already existing one storage light already there. Now when I turn that light on, it looks like it daytime under there, DW can find everything she needs, even in the forward Battery Compartment:
