Sid, I am blown away.
How cool is that!

You of course are going to post more than just a "finished" photo right?
I, for one, would like to know the grizzly details like who ya bought em from; what they cost; and if you had any problems installing them.

I have also added 2 to each door. Bought 18 on ebay a couple of yrs ago for $20. Main thing is the door anchors must be put on a larger plate (Alum) and riveted to the door as they are only vinyl & foam and the frame anchor should also be reinforced to the wall to eliminate flexing of the frame.

OK, anyone wanting to catch me in a mistake, point them to this thread too.

Disregard my posts regarding moving this one as I found FireInstructor's post further down.
VERY embarrassed.

Well this project has been going on for a couple of weeks now. I want my RV to be seen. It just blows my mind that all the manufactures use the same light, tail & turn, and clearance on all RV’s. When I have to get on the brakes I want the guy/gal behind me to know I’m on the binders, so.

I added red LED’s to the existing rear lights for stop and turn. I also put a nice polished piece of stainless behind the bulbs. In addition I also added two round four inch LED’s to each side below the bumper. So now I have three stop, turn, and tail on each side. Then the wheels really started to turn.

I ciphered out how and tested it and it does work, when the running lights are on, and the left or right turn signal is on, the lower clearance lights on that side will flash opposite of the turn signal. Now if the brake lights are on, brakes applied, the clearance lights will not flash until the brakes are released.

On my 831RKBSS it was easy to find all the connections inside for the lower clearance lights. I’m running a fused hot wire to each of the six lights. The wires will run under the floor between the bottom cover and the relays and fuses will be located under the lower drawer in the kitchen. This will make access easy with the slide in or out.

So if you see some guy flashing, it is me, er, ah us. And Lu, when she found out I had over $250 in this little adventure; I just received another “Oh Brother”.

Jonny, which solar kit did you order?

I got paid this weekend, sat down paid the mortgage and all the other bills and had just enough left over to order two solar panels. Everbright was supposed to have free shipping, but the online cart couldn't calculate it.

I guess I'll call on Monday and see if I really do have enough money to order the panels or if I need to keep shopping.

Due to wife's complaining, made one step into two (cut-out on bottom is for the carpet when the slide is in). Two screws hold it in place.

Since finally checked into how to add pictures (thanks herk) added one of clips installed to hold table in place when traveling Worked o. k. so far.

Third picture is counter extension (may need to refinish top, although not as bad as it looks in the picture). Tried to use the t. v. shelf from the bed room or the grill shelf, but they were too narrow for the brackets to clear the drawers. Wayne

Well, I was perfectly happy with my 2012 TT that we just got last September! Now that I see all these cool mods, I think we will be busy next winter. Fortunately, we store our unit in our driveway, so it will be easy to work on. I think I'll start with the "storm doors" and the roman blinds. Thanks for the great ideas!

You just got a free pass to spend the morning at the hardware store and the rest of the day out in the shop. Might even be able to buy some new tools... I think your wife would be really like it if you run a router and 1/4 round bit around the top of the steps.

While it is in my driveway-------------

Oh my good neighbors and I have an understanding---so far??? They don't complain and I promised not to park it in their yard!

Here are a couple of items (small) that I have completed.

1. Rubber plugs in door stop with stainless screw in bottom

2. Stainless eye bolt to hold awning on windy day with ground anchors.
The eye bolts are 1/4X20 threads with ss washer and ss jam nut.
3. All the stick on decals began to fall off, replaced with engraved plates
with 3m double back tape.
4. Motion light from RVwhosale, you get within 25-30 ft and it trips on. Has huge LED bulb that is white bright.

r8er4evr, any chance you could send along a couple pics if it's not too much trouble? We're looking at getting a sleep number and would like to see what you did with the pumps\hoses before I try tackling this myself.

Support bracket inside the closet. It goes all the way down to rest on top of the dresser part of the closet.
