Finally got around to getting some individual pics. Mostly used 1/8" 2x2 tubing, 1/4" plate, and 1/8" 1x1. Used a cut up lube plate for bearing surface, will replace with actual full diameter nylon once home. Also intend to strengthen the bumper mount.

Wish I had more time to engineer and fit to camper instead of engineering, building and mounting in 3 different locations. I'm gonna make some modifications when I get back.

I bought a 26 gallon water tank, added a pump, the pump plugs into my trailer connection on the back of my truck. It worked great on our trip to a state park with no water, made refilling the fresh water tank a breeze

Dont know about mods...

I was dealing with this...

When I found this

Looks like that tire may have taken a hard hit and when the u-bolt contacted the frame, it cut clear through the ground wire. I have things rerouted so that cant happen again. It happened a while ago, I remember noticing the tire had a funny shape to it months and months ago, but didn't realize it was starting to seperate. Trailer is only 16 months old, with maybe 5k miles on it.

Could have been way worse, I suppose.

Seperating one was the stock maypops... Trail America?

New one was a Carlisle, $120 OTD. It'll go back as the spare until I can save a few more bucks and do goodyears all around, $560 OTD. Camping season is almost over for me. Probably wait until the end of the summer and have them repack the bearings and adjust the brakes all together.

Here is one of our winter mods - replaced the wobbly table legs in our 2304s Rockwood Ultralite. Much better!

Thanks! We don't use the dinette as a bed, so the table does not need to be collapsible. If we need to, the top can be unbolted from the base to make a bed. I hated the original wobbly metal base. No wobble now!

Oh man that looks elegant!! We have those metal legs and they are really wobbly....the one in the man cave is the worse!

while its not TECHNICALLY a trailer mod, it IS related as I took the type of led awning lights many of us use and used them for the room. This was my "winter mod"...a remodel of one of my bedrooms to a nursery for my now 5 month old.....the crown moulding is multicolor led lit....the ceiling has 500 individual fiber optic "twinkle stars"...also a multi phase remote controlled moon...paint, heated floors, closet, trim.....I re did it all.....I like working on the trailer better...
