I had a blowout and the shredding tire did its own mod to the side of the camper. Does that count?

Been there, done that 4 yrs ago. $1800 damage + 4 Goodyear Marathon LRD tires to replace the factory junk, repaired it myself, not fun.

Here are some pics of bike rack without bikes and of grill in use position. Need to get quick disconnect fittings for grill yet.

Do you have any detail pics of the grill swing arm? I've taken some pics of a few commercial ones, but if love to see what you did.

No mods done yet, but I have 4 boxes with 7 different things inside of them that need to be installed on the camper if this spring. That is if it ever warms up enough to get the camper out of storage!

ttrost, what grill is that?

It's a charbroil 3 burner, without the cart and one of the shelves. It's the right size and weight for what I wanted. $149 at Home Depot.

Very nice job! I am going to look for a rack to disassemble and use in my next one. Very neat design. Bet you get lots of looks driving and pulling into the campground!

Rear jack mod using truck bed cargo bar to eliminate side to side movement (Sabre model in pic)...bolt on application & everything stores in rear bumper tube if you don't permanently install to frame.

I see how you attached to the foot but what and how di you connect the other side? Also have you tested stability yet with this mod? BTW looks nice

Rubber foot pad is wedge into top corner of frame, as you apply handle tension, it snugs very tightly & holds firm.

Yes, I did a dry fit to test application & retested after final install...camper is solid as a rock as you push the back in a side to side motion and as you walk in the rear of the camper, absolutely no movement.

Ragin Cajun,
Got any close up pics of the attachment points of the truck bed cargo bar? This is a great idea. Assume you drilled the lower end and added pin/bolt? Do you have one at both ends? The pic enlarges, I see it now. Thanks.

I removed the footpad on one end of cargo bar & drilled the holes to the same size of hex bolt for a firm fit.
The other foot pad that wedges against the frame, I removed the bolt and use a coupler pin so I can quickly detach the footpad from the cargo bar to stow away in the rear bumper.

Will get some measurements of my set up for purchasing the bars. I assume that is a Northern Tool or HF bar. Have a trailer so I will need one at the front too. Was looking for a simple way to stop the shake. Thanks.
