Automotive DVD player swap

Just curious if anyone has swapped out the stock DVD player with an automotive player. Some of the double din players have an RCA output for an external tv. If there's no major problems, this will give me an upgrade with Bluetooth capabilities without a compromise.

Did the exact opposite, ours had an automotive DVD player and changed it out to a residential home theater. The reason being that the one that came with it had no remote and one was not available and also it only played in stereo not surround sound.
