AV Receiver recomendation

I would like to put a AV Receiver in the entertainment center of my 5ver. I have been looking around for one that has a shallow depth. The depth is 12" but will need to be at least 2' to leave room for cable hookups. I want one with HDMI Inputs and outputs and 5.1 surround. Has anyone done this and if some what receiver did you use?

Thanks Rick

I like the Sony BDV-E390. It says the depth is 10-7/8 including protrusions (so where things like HDMI cables plug in have a little more room than that).

Thanks for the reply and the size would work but, it doesn't have HDMI inputs according to the specs. I want to run my HD Satellite through it. I am really looking for a dedicated stand alone receiver (which there are 1000's of) just can't find one with shallow depth. I would have no problem buying a HE setup if it had what I want.

Correct, no HDMI inputs. It will take the 5.1 (or 7.1) sound out of your Sat with Digital Coax input, and then just run the HDMI directly to the TV from the satellite box.
